MEET LAUREN
Hi,
I'm Lauren.
I’m a qualified teacher from Wales, now living and working in France, with 10 years experience working with children and young people across primary, secondary and alternative education.
The thing I’ve always loved most about teaching is getting to know the person behind the learner - what they enjoy, what makes them laugh, what they’re brilliant at and what might be getting in the way of their confidence.
That’s a big part of why I created Lauren Feeley Learning.
My teaching journey.
I began my career in primary education before moving into secondary and alternative education, where I established, developed and led an in-house Alternative Provision for young people aged 11-16.
Many of the pupils I worked with had additional learning needs (ALN/SEND), had struggled to engage with mainstream education or needed a different approach to help them rebuild confidence and experience success. I led a team of 10 staff to provide personalised, inclusive learning, alongside working as part of the school’s extended senior leadership team.
During the school’s Estyn inspection, our provision was recognised as a Spotlight Practice, highlighting the positive impact of our approach.
That experience reinforced something I’ve seen throughout my career: children make the greatest progress when they feel heard, understood and confident enough to learn.

A little more about me...
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me exploring our little corner of France with my partner and our two cocker spaniels, Bruce and Bertie. I love getting outdoors, discovering new places and good food - although I’m equally happy with a quiet evening at home.
Moving from Wales to France has been a pretty big adventure and it's also given me the opportunity to create Lauren Feeley Learning - bringing together the parts of teaching I’ve always loved most and doing things a little differently.
